10 outfits designed, 500 guests invited for Shahid`s wedding

Risingbd Desk: Looks like Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput`s wedding is going to be the biggest wedding of 2015.

Shahid may have been keeping mum about his impending marriage to city girl Mira Rajput, but he has been fully involved in the wedding preparations including the design of the card and outfits.

Mumbai-based designer Kunal Rawal has designed over 10 outfits for Shahid`s various ceremonies. The clothes are a mix of western and ethnic wear like bandhgalas, achkans etc.

While Kunal Rawal is styling Shahid, Anamika Khanna has designed for Sasha`s bride-to-be, Mira Rajput.

The Haider star, 34, will marry his 21-year-old fiancee in Gurgaon on July 7, according to the wedding card that surfaced online earlier this week.

Designer Ravish Kapoor, who is behind the turquoise and off-white invite, said the colour combination, detailing and gifts accompanying the wedding card were Shahid`s choice.

The card and the gifts were packed in the form of a tea blend as Shahid`s actor father Pankaj Kapur is a tea lover.

Without divulging much details, the card maker said that around 500 guests have been invited for the wedding as well as the reception.

There will be a separate invitation card for the reception, which is expected to be attended by Bollywood A-listers.

The reception will take place a few days after the wedding," he said.
