16kg gold seized at Shahjalal Airport

Staff Correspondent: Officials of Customs Intelligence Department seized gold bars weighing around 16 kg at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Friday night.

On secret information, the officials recovered the gold from a toilet at the Arrival Immigration Hall of the airport, said Assistant Commissioner Umme Nahida Akhter.

One person has been arrested in this connection.
