2 killed in Pabna road accident

Pabna Correspondent: At least two people were killed in a head-on collision between a Nasimon and auto-rickshaw on Pabna-Nagarbari highway near Aladipur on Tuesday night.

The deceased were identified as Akbar Hossain (55) at Durgapur Goshpara village under Ahmadnagar union of Sujanagar upazila and Abdur Rahim (60) at the same village.

According to the witnesses,  an auto-rickshaw collided with a Nasimon in the area at about 10:00pm, leaving four passengers of both vehicles injured.

The injured were taken to Pabna General Hospital where attending doctors declared Akbar dead.
Later, Rahim succumbed to his injures.
