20 lakh pieces of tables, capsules seized in Barisal

Staff Correspondent, Barisal: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) seized 20 lakh pieces of tables and capsule from a medicine factory named Indo-Bangla Pharmaceutical in Barisal town.

Barisal RAB-8 deputy commander Major Rakibuzzaman said that the law enforcers conducted the drive in the area factory on Tuesday evening and found illegally produced medicines. 

Later, the seized medicines were destroyed this morning.

Meanwhile, Executive Magistrate Ripon Biswas fined the company managing director AFM Anwarul Haque Tk 3 lakh.
