20 hurt as bus hits tree in capital

Staff Correspondent: At least 20 people have been injured after a passenger bus hit a tree in front of Matsya Bhaban in the city.
The incident took place at around 10:00am on Saturday after the driver of the bus lost control over its steering.
The identities of the injured could not be known immediately. Among them, conditions of several are very critical.
The injured are include: Jesmin, Sohel, Tushar, Monir Mollah, Nayeem, Shahnaj, Kulsum, Ali Nur, Romela, Rahima, Belal, Fatema, Arif, Moumita, Rahman and Mofidul.
They were admitted to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) and others hospitals in the city.
Sirajul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Shahbagh Police Station, confirmed the incident to risingbd.com.
