2.67 lakh kids to get Vitamin A in Faridpur

Faridpur Correspondent:  A total of two lakh 67 thousand and 625 children will be fed Vitamin A capsule in Faridpur on 25 April in across the country.

Faridpur Health department said 37312 children under 06 month to 11month and 230325 children under 12 month to 59month will be fed Vitamin A capsule under national vitamin A plus campaign observance.

Faridpur District Civil Surgeon (CS) Dr. Asit Ranjan Das on Wednesday in a view exchange meeting with the media people said that about 2130 health and family planning workers will fed Vitamin A to the children through 21 hundred vaccination centers of nine upazillas of the district.

Besides 5170 volunteers will assist them to administer the capsules, he added.
