28 APBn men injured in Barisal road accident

Staff Correspondent, BARISAL: Some 28 members of Armed Police Battalion (APBn) were injured in road accident in the district on Friday morning.

The road accident took place on Dhaka-Barisal highway in Rahamatpur area.

APBN ASP Assaduzzaman said a truck collided with a police van, carrying the APBn team who were on way to join Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s programme in Gopalganj.

Some of the injured are SI Jalil, ASI Jillur Rahman, members Milon, Tariqul Islam, Shahidul Islam, Sohel, Al Imran, Sultan Mahmud, Sayem, Sohel, Jibnish, Kashem, Mithun, Ramjan, Rafikul, Nazmul, Imteaz and Alam.

The injured have been admitted to Sher-e-Bangla Medical College and Hospital.
