3 detected in Hossaini Dalan attack

Staff Correspondent: Detective Branch (DB) of police has detected three people involved in the Hossaini Dalan bomb blasts in Old Dhaka during preparation for Tazia procession of Shia community.

DMP Detective Branch`s Joint Commissioner Monirul Islam said this while talking to newsmen at DMP Media Center in the city on Wednesday noon.

Police chief Monirul Islam said that they are conducting drives at different places to arrest them.

He also said that bomb making explosives were found at the house of Masud Rahman Sumon in Kamrangirchar area in the capital a day before the attack. Sumon gave his deposition in the court confessing his involvement in the Hossaini Dalan attack. Three people were present during the attack according to his deposition. Members of law enforcers have already detected them.
