4 killed in Sylhet road crash

Staff Correspondent, Sylhet: Four people were killed and anoter was injured as a truck rammed into a CNG-run auto-rickshaw at Mohammadpur Tikorparha on Sylhet-Bianibazar road in the district on Friday afternoon.

Chandan Chakroborty, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bianibazar Police Station, confirmed the news.

He said, a truck rammed into the auto-rickshaw heading to Bianibazar from Sylhet, left three dead on the spot. Another succumbed on way to hospital.

The deceased could not be identified immediately. The injured was taken to Osmani Medical College and Hospital, the OC added.
