38th, 39th BCS exam dates announced

Staff Correspondent: Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced the dates of 38th and 39th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) recruitment examinations.

The decision was taken at a special meeting of the PSC on Tuesday morning.

As per decision, the 39th BCS preliminary test will be held on August 3 and the written test of the 38th BCS will start on August 8.

Bangladesh Public Service Commission published a circular for the 39th Special Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination seeking applications against 4,792 posts of physicians.

A total of 16,286 candidates passed the preliminary test in the 38th BCS who will take part in the written part of the examination.

The commission will appoint 2,024 public servants, including 300 posts in the administration and 100 in police, through the 38th BCS.
