Staff Correspondent: At least four people were killed and 11 others injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Noabazar area under Chauddagram upazila in Comilla district on Saturday evening.

Of the deceased two were identified as Fakir Rasel, 40, an Answar man of Morolganj upazila of Bagerhat and Sujon, 27, son of Sona Mia.

Sources said that a passenger bus hit a roadside truck as the bus driver lost control over the steering around 7:30 pm, leaving 15 passenger injured.

The locals rushed to the spot and sent the injured to Chauddagram Health complex where duty doctor declared dead two people. Later, six critically injured were sent to Comilla Medical College where two others died under treatment.
