Satkhira Correspondent: Police in a special drive have arrested 40 people from eight thanas of the district.
Police conducted the special drive from Friday evening to Saturday morning and arrested them.
Among the arrestees, 18 people were from Sadar upazila, five from Kalaroa, three from Tala, seven from Kaliganj, two from Shymnagar, two from Ashashuni, one from Debhata and two from Patkelghata.
