Satkhira Correspondent: Police in special drives have arrested 40 people including a Jamaat leader from eight thanas of the district.
Police conducted the special drives from Sunday evening to Monday morning and arrested them.
Among the arrestees, five people were from Sadar upazila, 11 from Kalaroa, four from Tala, three from Kaliganj, seven from Shymnagar, four from Ashashuni, three from Debhata and three from Patkelghata.
