42 more infected with coronavirus in Gazipur

A total of 42 more people, have tested positive for coronavirus infection in Gazipur, bringing the total number of infected in the district to 3,600.

Md Khairuzzaman, civil surgeon of Gazipur confirmed the matter on Friday (July 3).

He said, the 42 people were infected with the disease in the last 24 hours after testing the sample from 469 people in the district.

18 of the new infected are from Sadar upazila, seven from Kaliakair upazila, five from Kaliganj, six from Kapashia and Sreepur. So far, a total of 44 Covid-19 patients died in the district.
