42 new coronavirus cases confirmed in Narsingdi

Forty-two new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Narsingdi, raising the total number of Covid-19 infected people in the district to 1,188.

Narsingdi Civil Surgeon Dr Ibrahim Titon confirmed the news on Friday.

According to Civil Surgeon Office, of the new cases, 28 are from sadar upazila, 3 from Shibpur, 8 from Monohordi, 2 from Raipura and one from Belabo.

A total of 21 Covid-19 patients have died in the district so far. Of them, 12 are from sadar upazila, 3 from Belabo, 3 from Raipura, one from Polash, Monohordi and Shibpur each.
