5 killed as microbus plunges into ditch in Comilla

Staff Correspondent, Comilla: At least five people were killed as a microbus plunged into a roadside ditch in the district on Friday midnight.
The accident took place around 12.00pm near Silonia Bridge under Laksham upazila.
Identities of the victims could not be confirmed immediately.
Officer-in-Charge of Laksham upazila Abdullah Al Mahfuj said, a Dhaka-bound bus from Noakhali plunged into a roadside ditch as the driver lost his control over it, leaving five dead on the spot.
Police recovered the dead bodies and sent those to Fair Health Hospital.
