Risingbd Desk: A good night`s sleep is one of the most vital elements of a healthy body and sound mind.

While the rat race tends to get the better of you, here are a few ways to ensure a sound sleep:

1) Go to bed at the same time every day. Make it a habit and stick to it. Your biological clock needs to get steady so that you get ample rest.

2) Eat at least two hours before you hit the sack. Don`t skip your last meal because that will have adverse effects on your metabolism and will slow it down.

3) Working out daily will help your sleep cycle. It will improve the quality of your sleep and keep you fit.

4) Switch off your electronic devices at least an hour before going to sleep.

5) Wear loose-fitting clothes to sleep comfortably.
