Staff Correspondent, Rangpur: A Rangpur court has sentenced seven activists of Bangladesh Chhatra Shibir to 20 years rigorous imprisonment for committing sabotage during Jamaat called hartal.
Additional District and Sessions Judge`s Court`s Judge Abu Jafar handed down the verdict on Tuesday.
The convicts are Mostafa Kamal, Ahsan Habib, Mehedi Hasan, Rabiul, Monowar Hossain, Jamidul Islam and Moinul Islam. Of them, Mostafa and Ahsan Habib are in jail while others are on the run.
