ACC arrests two on graft charge in Noakhali

Staff Correspondent: The law enforcers detained two people while they were giving money to ACC officials in Noakhali on Wednesday night.

The detainees' are- Senbagh Upazila freedom fighter commander SM Abdul Wahab and Office assistant Amin Ullah of UNO's office. 

ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.

According to the case statement, Abdul Wahab went to Anti Corruption Commission Noakhali office on Wednesday noon following an investigation. Meanwhile, SM Abdul Wahab informed the ACC officials that he gave Tk 2.20 lakh to Amin Ullah to get release from corruption charge.

Later, ACC official Mashiur Rahman phoned Amin Ullah to come ACC office and detained them both.
