ACC grills health minister’s APS

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) interrogated Dr. Mohammad Arifur Rahman, the assistant personal secretary to health minister, for his alleged involvement in corruption.

ACC Deputy Director Md Samsul Alam began interrogation at its Segunbagicha headquarters around 11.00am on Thursday.

Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya, public relations officer of ACC, confirmed the matter.

Earlier, ACC summoned Arifur Rahman for his alleged involvement in embezzling money and tender manipulation.

The ACC sources said APS Arifur embezzled more money by the name of training abroad of the Health Directorate officials.
