Abrar murder: BUET student Shamim arrested

Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) student Shamim Billah (21) has been arrested for his alleged involvement in Abrar Fahad murder while he was fleeing to India.

A DB team of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested him from Bhomra land port in Satkhira on Friday afternoon.

Shamim, a second year student Naval Architecture Department of BUET, is son of Aminur Rahman Bablu of the village. He fled to his village home following Abrar murder.

DMP deputy commissioner Masudur Rahman confirmed the news.

With this, 18 were arrested in Abrar murder case since the incident.
