Abrar murder: Writ seeks Tk10cr compensation

A writ was filed with the High Court seeking its directive to provide Tk 10 crore as compensation to the family members of Abrar Fahad.
Supreme Court lawyer advocate AKM Fayez filed the writ petition on Sunday with the High Court.
The hearing would be held at the bench of Justice Moinul Islam Chowdhury and Justice Md Ashraful Kamal on Monday.
Abrar, a second-year student of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department, was beaten to death inside the university’s Sher-e-Bangla Hall on October 7.
