Hasan replaces Rubel in 2nd Test against Pakistan

Sport Correspondent: Pacer Abul Hasan has been called in Bangladesh Test squad for the second match against Pakistan to be held in Dhaka on Wednesday as a replacement to injured Rubel Hossain.

Rubel suffered a strain in his leg while he was bowling in the third day of first Test against Pakistan in Khulna. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), however, announced the squad for second Test retaining all players of first Test including Rubel.

Later on Monday, Habibul Bashar, a selector of BCB confirmed that Rubel could not be able to play in the second Test due to the injury. Pacer Abul Hasan has been included to the squad as the replacement for Rubel.

The last and final Test of the two match series will be started on Wednesday at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. Bangladesh drew the first Test against Pakistan.
