Amitabh Bachchan slapped with Rs 1 cr notice

Risingbd Desk: Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has been slapped with a RS 1 crore legal notice by a man named Dr Jagbir Rathee for allegedly sharing his poem on social media by someone else`s name.

Amitabh Bachchan, who is also known as Big B, shared a poem on Facebook. Dr Jagbir Rathee, claimed that the poem, which was shared by Big B, was written by him in 2006. However, Big B gave credit to someone else while sharing the poem on social media.

Rathee stated that he has been trying to contact the Bollywood star through Facebook and Twitter. But all his attempts went in vain. After all his failed attempts to contact Big B, Rathee decided to send this legal notice to Big B who has been given a 15-day time to respond to the notice sent.

It has been learnt that the controversial poem was shared on Big B`s Twitter account by one of his followers -- Vikas Dubey. Later the actor shared the same poem giving credit to Dubey and not to Rathee.

The Bollywood actor had faced similar kind of situation when he had shared a cartoon of RK Laxman who passed away in Jan, 2015.
