BCL men occupy Banglabazar polling centre

Staff Correspondent: An allegation has found that members of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), the ruling party student wing, have occupied the Banglabazar Mohila College polling centre.

According to sources, a group of BCL men led by president of Jagannath University unit of BCL entered the polling centre around 9.00am.

They captured the polling centre, stuffed ballot boxes and drove out polling agents of rival candidates.

At one stage, BCL men clashed with the agents of rival candidates.

Presiding officer and one of his assistants did not agree to talk about the centre capture by BCL men, but an assistant presiding officer admitted this to newsmen.
