BCL withdraws expulsion order against Esha

Staff Correspondent: Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) central committee has withdrawn the expulsion order of Dhaka University's Kabi Sufia Kamal Hall unit BCL president Iffat Jahan Esha.

The central committee of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) issued a notification in this regard on Friday.

Esha is reinstated to her post as she was found faultless after investigation, a press release signed by BCL President Md Saifur Rahman Sohag and General Secretary SM Jakir Hossain said.



On Tuesday, a four-member probe body was formed by Bangladesh Chattra League (BCL) over assault to a female student of Kabi Sufia Kamal Hall of Dhaka University (DU).

The committee members were- BCL Vice-President (VP) Nusrat Jahan Nupur, Nishita Iqbal Nandi, DU unit President Abid Al Hasan and General Secretary Motahar Hossain Prince.

Earlier, Esha, a master’s student of Philosophy Dept, was suspended from the university and the BCL committee.
