'BNP constrained to join polls for existence'

Staff Correspondent, Jessore: Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader said BNP is constrained to participate in the next general election to protect its political existence.

The Road Transport and Bridges Minister came up with the comment to the reporters at Rajarhat of Jessore, on his way to Satkhira for member collection campaign of Awamil League (AL) at around 11:00am on Tuesday.

"BNP has no way but to take part in the election. They have to come for saving their existence," Quader said.

He said, "It is very important for BNP to join polls if they do not want to throw their political existence in further risk. They cannot avoid it as it will push them in more troubles. The election will be competitive. They will miss the chances if they neglect it," the Minister said.
