Staff Correspondent: Road Transport and Bridges Minister and Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said, "Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) sits at home after announcing programmes and its top leaders are not seen to take streets."

The AL leader made the remark while talking to newsmen after placing a wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu at Dhanmondi in the capital on Tuesday morning, marking the Homecoming Day of the great leader.

In reply to a query, Obaidul Quader said, "Encroaching to party is an isolated incident. Action will be taken against those encroachers after January 11."

He said, "BNP sits at home after announcing programmes and its top leaders are not seen to take streets. For instance, Abdul Moin Khan uses tall talks sitting at home. Has he taken to streets any day?"

Earlier on the day, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid rich tributes to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing a wreath at his portrait in front of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi in the capital on Tuesday morning, marking the Homecoming Day of the great leader.
