Sports Desk: Ben Stokes has lost his £200,000-a-year contract with New Balance following his arrest after a street brawl in Bristol last month.
Sportsmail revealed a fortnight ago that the sports equipment manufacturer was considering ending the deal and confirmation comes shortly after it was announced that England's Test vice-captain is no longer scheduled to fly to Australia with the rest of the Ashes squad on October 28.
'New Balance does not condone behaviour by our global athletes that does not match our brand culture and values, and therefore we have ended our relationship with Ben Stokes,' they said in a statement.
Although Stokes has not been ruled out of the five-Test series, England will not pick him until further notice as he waits to discover whether he will be charged for his part in the 2am fight.
The ECB will also hold their own investigation into the behaviour of Stokes and England team-mate Alex Hales.
Meanwhile, Stokes made a public apology to model Katie Price and her disabled son Harvey on Wednesday after a video emerged of the cricketer impersonating the duo.
