'Big names to be found in corruption must face actions'

Staff Correspondent: The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Iqbal Mahmud said the watchdog body will make lists for every sector from next year to take measures against the big names to be found involvement in the corruption. For this, ACC will give priority to its own research and detective information.

He came up with the statement while speaking at human chain programme formed in front of the Jatiya Press Club in the capital on Saturday morning.

ACC Chairman and Commissioners led the human chain. All classes of ACC employees, girl guides, boys' scouts, Ansars and BNCC members attended the programme.

When asked over BASIC Bank loan scandal, Iqbal Mahmud said, "I do not want to throw any comment until the investigation comes to end. Those will be found responsible in the investigation will face measures. Nobody will be spared."
