Case filed over killing police officer

Staff Correspondent: A case has been filed over the killing of Inspector of Detective Branch of police Jalal Uddin.

Sub Inspector of Detective Branch Shamim Ahmed filed the case with Mirpur Model Thana on Thursday morning mentioning one name and other unknown persons.

Confirming the matter, Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nazrul Islam said number of case is 57.    
Jalal Uddin was killed in a gunfight with a group of terrorists in the city’s Madhya Pirerbagh area of Mirpur on Monday midnight during an arms recovery operation.
