College admission process begins today

Secretariat Correspondent: Admission process in colleges under 2018-19 academic session will begin from Sunday noon across the country.

Shahedul Khabir Chowdhury, secretary of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, said, the admission process officially will be started at 12:00pm.

The admission process will continue till May 24 (Thursday). Applicants have to submit their application through www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd.

Admission seekers will have to apply through online and SMS mentioning names of 5-10 colleges or equivalent educational institutions as per their choice. The students can also apply by sending SMS from any number of teletalk mobile.

According to the guidelines, the admission seekers will be able to apply through online by paying Tk 150. The students, however, can apply for admission through SMS by paying Tk 120 for each.
