College student stabbed to death in capital

Staff Correspondent: Assailants stabbed to death a second year college student at Uttara in the capital on Wednesday midnight.
The incident took place around 1:00am in sector 7 area under Uttara West Police Station.
Police identified the victim as Riajul Hasan Anik, 19, a HSC 2nd year student of Adamjee Cantonment College.
Firoz Alam, a Sub-Inspector (SI) of Uttara West Police Station who recovered the body, said Anik was stabbed at one stage of altercation with his classmates around midnight.
He died on the way to Bangladesh Medical College Hospital and the body was taken to the police station, he said.
The body was sent to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for autopsy on Thursday morning, added the SI.
