Court orders to hold DACSU election within 6 months

Staff Correspondent: The High Court has ordered to hold Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) election within six months.
The HC bench of Justice Syed Muhammad Dastagir Husain and Justice Md Ataur Rahman Khan passed the order on Wednesday.
In 2012, a total of 25 students of Dhaka University filed a writ petition seeking its directives on the authorities concerned to take immediate steps to hold DUCSU election.
The last election to DUCSU was held on June 6, 1990.
