DNCC by-polls: Executive magistrates in field from today

Staff Correspondent: The Election Commission has deployed from today (Tuesday) 18 executive magistrates for by-polls of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) and 36 wards of two Dhaka city corporations that are going to be held on February 26.
Assistant Returning Officer Tajul Islam said the executive magistrates are in the field to take action in case of violation of electoral code of conduct.
12 executive magistrates will work in the polling areas of Dhaka North City Corporation and six in South City Corporation, he also said.
Today is the last date for submission of nominations.
