Staff Correspondent: Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) on Sunday took a decision to begin drives against the unfit vehicles and the divers who have no licenses on November 10 this year across the country.

Besides, the BRTA also have taken the decisions to take special initiatives with view to stop harassments to the people who come the BRTA office for receiving services and movements of the brokers and the deceivers here.

The decisions were taken from a co-ordination meeting of ‘Road Safety, Road Transport and BRTA Overall Activities’ that was held at the BRTA headquarters in the capital.

Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader presided over the meeting.

After the meeting the minister told to the reporters that mobile courts are being operated against vehicles plying roads even after the expiry of their age-limit. The movements of the Brokers and the deceivers will be monitored with iron hand.

The BRTA has taken the decisions following the recent deadly Natore road crash that killed at least 36 people and injured 44 others.
