Drug queen Rehena’s bullet-hit body found

Staff Correspondent, Mymensingh: Police recovered body of drug queen Rehena from Gondropa area of the district’s sadar upazila early Sunday.

Ashikur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the district Detective Branch (DB) of Police confirmed the news.

Rehena might be killed by rivals over sharing money of drugs, he said.

When asked, police ruled out any incident of ‘gunfight’.

Mushfiqur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge (OC-Intelligence) of Kotwali Model Police Station, said, “Being informed by locals, we recovered the bullet-body. Later, she was identified as Rehena.”

According to police and different sources, Rehena was involved in drug trading. She used to sell drugs behind the Cantonment Cinema Hall of Mymensingh town. She was accused in several cases.
