Fire in N’ganj UCB, security guard burnt alive

Staff Correspondent, Narayanganj: A security was burnt to death in a fire that broke out at a branch of United Commercial Bank (UCB) at Pukurpar Mosque Market in the city early Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Reaz Selim.
The fire originated at the bank around 5:30am on Sunday and soon spread to the whole office, killing Selim on the spot.
Informed, nine units of firefighters from Mandalpara, Fatulla and Dhaka rushed to the spot and brought the flame under control.
