Former footballer Aminul among 6 remanded

Staff Correspondent: A Dhaka court has placed former footballer and BNP's sports secretary Aminul Haque and five others on a two-day remand each.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mahmudul Hassan passed the order after hearing in a case on Sunday.

Other convicts who were remanded are Rafiqul Islam Rasel, organizing secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan BNP South, Nur Nabi, joint convener of Shwechchhasebak Dal,  Talukder Amit Hassan Hafiz, organizing secretary of Dhaka University's SM Hall, Md Sohel Rana and Nasir Uddin, planning secretaries of Shwechchhasebak Dal central committee.

On December 5, Police arrested Aminul Haque and five others in front of Bangabazar of the capital for their involvement in attacking on police, vandising vehicles and blocking roads.
