Husband kills wife

A man has killed his wife on suspicion of extra-marital relation.

The incident took place early Monday at Teluniapara under Aiznagar union of Lama upazila in Bandarban district. 

The deceased was identified as Shahina Akhter, 27, daughter of late Ibrahim at Teluniapara.

Husband Md Zakir Hossain, who is a motorcycle driver, locked into an altercation over the matter and one stage Zakir hacked his wife indiscriminately with a sharp weapon, leaving her death on the spot.
