Jannatul Nayeem crowned Miss World Bangladesh-2017

Entertainment Desk: Jannatul Nayeem has been crowned title of Miss World Bangladesh-2017.

She will represent Bangladesh in the Miss World 2017 pageant in China.

Jannatul Nayeem was named Miss World Bangladesh 2017 on Friday at the pageant's coronation night at Bashundhara Convention Hall in the city.

Jessia Islam is the first runner up and second runner up Jannatul Sumaiya Himi.

The other seven competitors in the top ten were Rukaiya Jahan Chamak, Zara Mitu, Sadia Iman, Touhida Tasnim Tifa, Miftahul Jannat, Sanchita Rani Dutta and Farhana Zaman Tandra.

The 'Miss World Bangladesh' contest started in August. About 25 thousand women participated in this contest. Ten contestants took part in the grand finale.

The judges of the grand finale of this competition were Bibi Russell, Jewel Aich, Shampa Reza, Chanchal Mahmud, Rubaba Dowla Matin and Sonia Kabir. Shina Chauhan was the anchored in the programme.
