Juba Mahila League gets new president, secy

Staff Correspondent: Nazma Aktar and Apu Ukil have been re-elected as the president and secretary general, respectively, of Bangladesh Juba Mahila League, an associate body of the ruling Awami League (AL).

The duo got the post of president and general secretary of the organisation again as there were no leaders more qualified than them in the Juba Mahila League.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina announced the names of the new leaders for the new committee of the Juba Mahila League in the 2nd National Council of Jubo Mohila League at the Krishibid Institution auditorium in the capital on Saturday.

Earlier, the women's front of the ruling Awami League, Mahila Awami League, had got new leaders through its second council session, which was held after 14 years last Saturday.
