Long-route buses advised not to ply after 9.00pm

Staff Correspondent: Inspector General of Police (IGP) AKM Shahidul Haque has urged the transport owners not to operate their long-route buses after 9.00pm.
The IGP came up with the advice at a views exchange meeting with the leaders of Road Transport Samity at Rajarbagh Police Lines in the city on Saturday evening.
He also urged the bus owners and staff to keep adequate water and sand at their busses and use parda of thick clothes at the windows.
