Man kills cousin in capital

Medical Correspondent:  A man hacked his cousin to death following family enmity in the city early Tuesday.

The incident took place at 48 Justice Lalmohan Das Lane of Sutrapur around 1:00am.

The deceased was identified as Monir Hossain, 38, while the alleged killer is Wahid Hossain.

Victim’s uncle Sheikh Shamsuddin said Wahid hacked Monir with sharp machete in front of his house at 48 Justice Lalmohan Das Lane in the thana around 2am.

Monir was taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) where duty doctor declared him ndead, he added.
