DHAKA, July 17: Jamaat-e-Islami secretary general Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mojaheed is up on the dock at the International Crimes tribunal-2 which is all set to deliver a verdict on him.

Mojaheed was presented in the dock at 10:40am.

The ICT-2 Chairman Justice Obaidul Hasan and the tribunal’s two other judges-- Justice Md Mujibur Rahman Mia and Judge Shahinur Islam arrived at the tribunal to deliver the verdict on Mojaheed’s involvement with war crimes during the 1971 Liberation war.

Earlier, a contingent of securitymen guarded the Jamaat top leader as he was taken to the prison cell of the ICT-2 from Dhaka Central Jail at about 9:45am in a white microbus.
 
Mojaheed faces the trial on seven counts of crimes against humanity, including genocide, murder, torture, conspiracy, planning incitement and complicity in atrocities during the 1971 Liberation War.
