Murder accused lynched in Pabna

Angry locals in Pabna's Sadar Upazila have lynched a murder accused to death.

The deceased was known as Saddam Hossain, 30, son of Abdur Razzak. 

Pabna acting police super Gautam Kumar Biswas said, a man named Rezaul was hacked to death two years ago. Saddam was main accused in the murder case. Recently, he has secured bail and gave threat to the plaintiff of the case.

He went to the slain Rezaul’s home around 11:00am on Saturday and again threatened the family members of the Rezaul. Meanwhile, locals gave him a good beating, leaving him critically injured. Later, he was taken to Pabna General Hospital where he died under treatment around 2:00pm.

Ataikula police station Officer-in-Charge Nasirul Alam confirmed the matter.
