No militants will be spared: Home Minister

Staff Correspondent: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said that all militants are under close observation of the law enforcement agencies warning that no militants will be spared.

The minister came up with statement while talking to newsmen at his Dhanmondi residence in the capital on Friday.

Asaduzzaman said, "Saddam was involved in the killings of northern part of the country. Marzan was one of the masterminds who led the killings. Marzan has been killed. No one will be spared like him."

Pointing out those who are still on the way to terrorism, the minister said, "There is no alternative to coming back from the way of militancy. But the government and the law enforcement agencies will take all necessary steps for them who will show interest to come back to normal life. And those who will not come back will face dire consequence. Many have already seen the dire consequence."

Neo JMB leader Nurul Islam Marzan and his associate Saddam were killed in a gunfight with police in the capital’s Mohammadpur area early today.
