Nor`wester cautioned in Dhaka,14 districts

Staff Correspondent: A nor`wester storm may be lashed over 15 districts in the country along with Dhaka, Bangladesh Meteorological Department sources confirmed this to media, in a statement, this afternoon.

"A low lies over Bihar and adjoining area extending its trough to North Bay," the statement adds.

"Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary W/NW’ly Kalbaishakhi squalls speed 60-80 kph or more at places is likely to occur over the regions of Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur, Jessore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali,  Noakhali, Comilla and Sylhet with hails at places during next 18 hrs commencing from 05:00 pm today, 23 April 2015," the statement also cautioned.
