One held with 140 gold bars at Baitul Mukarram market

Staff Correspondent: Officials of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate (CIID) have seized 140 gold bars weighing 16.240 kilograms from Baitul Mukarram market in Dhaka on Saturday evening.
The CIID officials have also detained a person in this connection.
The detainee is Rabiul Islam.
CIID Joint Commissioner Mohammad Zakaria confirmed the news to risingbd.
He said 140 gold bars weighing 16.240 kilograms have been seized from one Rabiul Islam at Baitul Mukarram market in the capital.
The current market price of the gold is Tk 5.90 crore, the official added.
