One of 4 missing youths returns home

Staff Correspondent: One of the four youths, who had gone missing together from a café in the capital’s Banani area in December last year, has returned.

The returnee is Shafayat Hossain.

Shafayat’s father Md Ali Hossain confirmed this to risingbd on Sunday morning.

Some unknown people dumped Shafayat who was blindfolded at a place in Gabtoli area early Friday. Later, Shafayat returned to his Old Dhaka residence by a CNG-run auto-rickshaw with the help of local people, his father said.

Shafayat could not say anything behind his abduction or about those who can abduct him. We have informed police about the matter, Ali Hossain added.

The four youths— Shafayat Hossain, Zain Hossain Khan Pavel, Sujan Ghorami and Mehedi Hasan Howladar—went missing together from a café in the capital’s Banani area on December 1 last year.

Earlier, Zain Hossain Khan Pavel, Sujan Ghorami and Mehedi Hasan Howladar returned home.
